(More customer reviews)We've been using this soother for a couple weeks now and our daughter seems to enjoy it. It definitely helps her to fall asleep. Even so, I'm giving it just 3 stars out of 5: minus 1 for the volume control, and minus 1 for the short rail straps. There are just two volume settings, both of which are kinda loud; they should have instead included a volume knob to allow you to adjust the sound more precisely. As for the rail straps, the geniuses at Baby Einstein apparently think everyone has a cheap crib with skinny rails. To the contrary, just about all the popular convertible cribs sold these days have thicker railings, too think for this soother. We had to mount it to our crib sideways just to get it to fit (see attached video).
