(More customer reviews)I used a moses basket for my first child for her first 5 months, and was very pleased with the safety, portability, and ease of use.We only reluctantly traded it in for a crib when she outgrew it.For my second, I had to shop online, and tried my best to find one that looked similar to the first (which was a hand-me-down, brand unknown).This basket, unfortunately, is a horror.It's ugly, too narrow, and most alarmingly, has a pad that curls up the sides, which presents a SIDS hazard.I don't normally write product reviews, but as a physician, I feel a need to warn people away from this product.Any bedding for a newborn needs to fit SNUGLY, without bulges.Buyer beware.

(More customer reviews)This basket is ok for light use, but it is not as sturdy as some of the baskets I have seen in stores.The sheet is very cheap, thin material, so we ended up getting a better sheet to use.The liner is cheap fabric, too.The pattern is printed on- not the real yarn-died gingham fabric which I expected.

It's great that I can put him high on the kitchen table to keep my 2 year olds fingers out of his face. i also like that it' s cozy I la my son down in it all the time wile doing dishes or laundry and he will lay there and laugh and smile. The fabric is very soft and the mattress is fine but nothing special. i highly recommend this basket. The canopy adds shade and seem to entertain my little guy.

This pretty Moses Basket creates a space for baby anywhere in the house! A safe place for your baby to sleep at home or when visiting friends ? keep baby close by wherever you are. Includes a foam mattress pad and sheet. Soft polyester fill pads the bumper for comfort. Soft bumper/liner is made with fuzzy Dot fabric. Liner wraps around the outside edge of the basket and hugs the sides and handles. The liner is also removable and can be machine washed (cold water, gentle cycle) and tumbled dry (low or no heat). Basket hood shades your baby, or it can be removed completely with the Velcro attachments. Sturdy handles are woven onto the basket. The handle is actually "one piece" that goes down both sides and under the bottom. When Baby outgrows the Moses Basket, use it as a place for storing stuffed animals or linens, or as a bed for dolls or pets.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Picci Cortina Carry basket for my baby for nights when the baby will sleep in our room as well as times when we are on the move.I like it so much better than a clunky pack-and-play and it's beautiful too.I'm not sure what the weight limits are but we'll have to see as the baby gets bigger.I plan to go buy more sheets as the one sheet that it does come with seems to be a bit flimsy and likely will not hold up to several washing.Also, the first one that was delivered arrived with the box somewhat crushed so I contacted Amazon to return it.They sent a new one at no cost overnight and reimbursed me for my return shipping no questions asked.Great customer service!

(More customer reviews)I wanted a Moses basket to take with me to parents house when we visit. My daughter sleeps well in the basket. The basket is tightly woven and very appealing. I didn't give it 5 stars due the hood is attached with velcro, making it less appealing. I would like it better if the hood was woven on. This is a great value for $29.99. Check around and you will not find a quality Moses basket for less.
